Today was a fun day. We had Will's 6 month pictures taken this morning (which of course turned out super cute) and this afternoon we headed to the beach. It was a fairly cool day (in the 80s) and we visited the beach at Dam Neck-Oceana (one of the naval bases). Parking is free and usually it's not as crowded as the resort area. We didn't stay long. We had forgotten Will's hat and it seemed much warmer once we were out there. The main purpose was to enjoy some fresh air as a family and get some pictures from Will's first beach experience. He had a good time watching all the people, birds and waves. He did not get in the water (we know how dirty it is), and we didn't let him play in the sand (we know it would end up in his eyes and/or mouth). We did slather him with sunscreen before enjoying the sun!
"Wow! That's a big bathtub!"
