New Sounds

Will's sounds are expanding. He's got a few words in his vocabulary, but we love his babbling sounds. The sound we don't enjoy so much are his shouts. He especially loves to do this at the store where his voice echoes really well. These noises are loud and long!

This week he worked on "ck" sounds. "Duh ck" (duck) and "chicky" (chicken) were heard. He's still working on "E" sounds. We get a lot of "ees". Is it cheese? Is it please? It seems to have something to do with food.

Speaking of food, Will loves to be in the kitchen. He opens the cupboard doors and the drawers and squeals when we open "his" cupboard with his snacks, cereal, etc. He has also managed to pull plastic containers and some pots out. More messes--oh joy!
