Trick-Or-Treat

Will picked out a lion costume for Halloween this year. He practiced his roar daily for the last month and soon, everything related to Halloween was "RARRR". He knew where his costume was kept (in the closet) and wanted to wear it or at least carry it around every chance he got.

He wasn't too sure about the pumpkin carving. He liked to hold the spoon and stir the pumpkin seeds, but wasn't interested in getting his hands dirty!

We trick-or-treated at a couple neighbors' houses on Halloween. At the first (our next door neighbor), Will wasn't quite sure what he was doing and was being shy. Laura nicely handed him a treat and with a little help from Mommy, he was able to put it into his bag. He didn't have anything to say until we were going down the sidewalk, "Bye...Bye...Bye". Onto the next house. We got up to the door, he was offered a treat, and he opened his bag all on his own. It's amazing how quickly they learn! Will hit the jackpot at this house and received a few treats for his bag. We had a little trouble pulling him away, but once we did he was ready to head back to the first neighbor to see if she had more goodies. He may want to trick-or-treat everyday now! When we got home, he spotted our bowl of candy, and one by one put our candy into his bag. What a goofball!

  1. Didn't get to see Jason as a baby. But Will is the spitting image! Love seeing him grow!
