After almost a month of not updating the blog, I'm going to see how much I can cram into one...
November finished with a quiet, but nice Thanksgiving. We had a low-key day, ate too much turkey, and put the Christmas tree up over the weekend. Will was interested in each ornament as they went on the tree. The tree started off having ornaments from top to bottom, but over the last few weeks, the low hanging ornaments had to be relocated closer to the top! Every morning he runs to the tree yelling "UP! UP!", which we have learned means "on". He loves having the lights lit up.

Will has been really excited about Santa aka "Anta" and his reindeer aka"horsies". Each time we're at the mall, he points in the direction we need to go to see where Santa sits. He always waves hello and says "bye". When asked what Santa says, he says "Ho Ho". Of course, when it came time to visit Santa, he didn't want to get near Santa and certainly was NOT going to sit on his lap. We did convince him to give Santa a high five.

| Maybe next year we'll get a smile! |
Will has also been working on climbing out of his crib. He doesn't seem to do it until Daddy or Mommy open his door in the morning or after his nap. I've had to run to catch him once but our fingers are crossed that he doesn't get too successful so we can put off the toddler bed a little longer.

The other day we made Christmas cookies. Will loves to help so he really enjoyed this activity! He wasn't such a help when it came to frosting the cookies. He just wanted to eat the sprinkles!

Will has tons of silly energy! He likes to march, dance, jump, and splat (fall down to the ground). He is a busy little guy and keeps us on our toes!

We are taking advantage of time together as family, especially since Will, Maggie and I will be headed to Iowa the day after Christmas and Jason won't get to join us until the end of January. Thank goodness for Skype and cell phones! We are looking forward to our move back to Iowa to be close to family and old friends!
