Farm Progress Show

The tale of two city girls and a 2 year old...

Grandma Lori took Will & Mommy to the Farm Progress Show in Boone. We knew Will would enjoy looking at the tractors and it would provide a good distraction for me, because it was "closing day" for our new house and we were waiting for last minute paperwork to go through and we had been warned that if it didn't come through in time, then we would have to close the following day.

It was quite a walk from the parking area to where the festivities were, but our little trooper walked almost the whole way. It was a little warm but it turned out to be lots of fun. Will came away with a new hat and candy, Grandma won a pizza cutter and Mommy won a flashlight.

"Hmmm. I wonder what that lever does."

Examining the corn

Looking pretty serious

Driving a John Deere

"This one is just my size."

Hiding with Grandma in the corn

Will fell on the gravel and scraped his knee,
so he enjoyed a sucker while Mommy cleaned the wound.

Giving a "thumbs up" because it feels all better!
