When we woke up Christmas Eve morning, George (our Elf), had left pjs for the boys (and Mommy, too!).

Christmas Eve evening, we went to church. This year, they had battery operated candles. What a brilliant idea (especially for families with wiggly kids). Will played in the children's bell choir and then we headed home to get Santa's cookies ready and head to bed so Santa could come visit our house.

| We tried to get a picture of the boys together, but Thomas wasn't in the mood. |
| Getting Santa's cookies picked out is serious business. |
| Arranging cookies and carrots. |
| Will taught Thomas the tradition of tasting Santa's cookies to make sure they are good enough. |
Will woke us up Christmas morning and announced that he was sure that Santa had come. He heard hoofs on the roof!
Will tore through his presents while Thomas was more interested in anything
but the presents.
| Will couldn't wait to ride the scooter Santa brought. |
| Thomas zeroed in on the TV remote and then liked carrying around the big shovel. |

| Thomas & Mommy both look a little sleepy! |
| Santa also brought the boys chairs. |

During breakfast, Will also lost his two bottom teeth. It didn't seem to phase him. He was eating his egg casserole and got a sour look on his face. He spit out his bite and there was tooth number one. Tooth number two came out with his cinnamon roll. The boy loves food, so the teeth sat on the table as he finished his breakfast. (Side story: On the way to Christmas Eve service, Will was in the backseat wiggling his teeth with his tongue and tells us, "After my baby teeth come out, I'm going to get
man teeth!")
Christmas afternoon brought time playing with new toys, a nap for Thomas, a visit from Grandma Jamie & Papa Jim, and watching movies.
| Thomas and Maggie watched out the door as Will took his scooter for a spin. |
| Look at him go! |
| Watching the Lego Movie. (Try to ignore Will's finger placement.) |
| Merry Christmas from Maggie Violet! |
