November 2015

November kind of flew by. Thomas had a miserable eye and ear infection, which he passed to me in the form of eye infection and a terrible cold. It was then passed to Daddy who had ear and eye infection. Somehow, Will escaped the illness...for now!

So...November...

Will is participating in Running Club on Tuesday & Thursday mornings before school. Each time he gets a "toe token" to add to his necklace and he thinks it's fun he gets to eat breakfast at school on those mornings.
This was his ensemble one morning. (I made him change.)
Thomas finished up swimming lessons at the Y. His favorite part was "kick and reach". He did a great job!
Thomas with his certificate.
Hurray!
One of the PE activities Will did in November was Speed Stacking (aka cup stacking). Parents and students were invited after school hours to participate in a cup stacking night. The PE teacher educated the parents on how it helps with coordination and then we saw how he incorporates physical activities (running around) along with cup stacking.

Our sick little guy. This is also the last picture we have of him with his beloved "bah".
We had our first snow of the year. We stayed in that Friday night for pizza, milkshakes and a movie.

All bundled up!
Will did a super job making our snowman family
Thanksgiving: We made the rounds for the Thanksgiving. Thursday, we were in Ankeny with Papa Pez and Grandma Jan. Friday, we got up early to do some Black Friday shopping and decorated our Christmas tree. On Saturday, we headed to Nevada to spend time with Papa Randy and Grandma Lori. Then on Sunday, we went to Ames to see Papa Jim and Grandma Jamie. Lots of fun family time!
Taking it easy at Papa Pez and Grandma Jan's house.
Thomas is loving the Christmas tree!
Will was a super helper putting ornaments on the tree.
It's tradition to have egg nog when we decorate the tree.
Will got to put the angel on the tree because Thomas wanted nothing to do with her!
Will thought Thomas needed a comfy spot on the couch, so he took it upon himself to fetch some of Thomas's blankets and friends and got him all tucked in.
What a pair!
Whew! We made it through November. We look forward to all that December will bring!
