Thomas's 3 Year Stats

This was his first doctor's visit ever that he didn't cry from the start. Usually, the nurse asks him to get on the scale and he falls apart. He proudly got on the scale for his weight and knew what to do to see how tall he was. (Then he fell apart, but we're making progress!) At 3 they *try* to do blood pressure. He would have preferred to keep his clothes on. There was no way he would let Dr. Dodge look in his mouth. But, overall, he's a healthy guy!

Dr. Dodge agreed, that it would be a good time to get him evaluated for speech therapy and we're also going to try feeding therapy. While he talks all the time, it's not understandable a good chunk of the time, especially for anyone other than me. We're hoping feeding therapy expands his nutrition from cheese, yogurt, bread and fruit to include some meat, pasta, and whatever else they can convince him to eat. Dr. Dodge lovingly called him "stubborn". I would agree.

Despite not eating from all the food groups, he's really grown well in the last year.
Weight: 31 pounds (52 percentile)
Height: 3 feet 2 inches (65 percentile)

While we waited for the doctor to come in, he played hide and seek.
After visit trip to Starbucks (because we both survived!). Apple juice and a cake pop!
