Jason and I have wanted to go to New York City before we move back to Iowa and finally had the opportunity. Early in the week, Jason found out that he would have a long weekend so we decided to get planning and go! We had a great time, did lots of walking and saw quite a bit in the 2 days we had in the city.
We left Thursday around noon and got to our hotel in Elizabeth, New Jersey that evening. We got checked into our hotel, had some dinner and put Will to bed. It was past his bedtime, but we still needed to plan our 1st day in the city. Will is a fairly light sleeper, so Jason and I headed to the bathroom with the computer and a map of the subway system. It became our nightly routine to plan in the bathroom so the little guy could get his sleep.
