We really lucked out with Hurricane Irene. It lost much of its power on the way up the coast and we're far enough from the ocean that we kept our electricity and only had some strong wind and rain. Unfortunately, there are still many without power and lots of clean up going on around us.
Saturday we stayed in our pajamas and were glued to the news for any updates or shifts in the path of Irene. Will thought it was fun that Jason & I weren't up doing things, but instead sitting on the floor and couch for him to climb on, snuggle with and play with.

Since this week we survived an earthquake and a hurricane, we decided that we'd chance it and see if we could also survive a BLIZZARD. We did, and it was a great end to our weather and earth-shifting week!
