Keeping Up With The Keisers: The rest of June

The 2nd half of June flew by, so we'll make a long post with Father's Day, Daddy's birthday, swimming lessons and a visit from Great Grandpa & Grandma Keiser.

Father's Day(s) June 16-17

With so many terrific dads we had to spread Father's Day out to Father's Weekend! Saturday we saw Papa Jim for lunch, Sunday for lunch and afternoon playtime we were at Papa Tim's house and then we finished the day with Papa Randy. Will enjoyed every minute spent with his Daddy too!

Swimming Lessons June 18-27

Will has never been much of a fan of water. Bath times were a struggle for quite a while and when we went swimming earlier in the year, he wasn't real thrilled about it. We thought 2 weeks of swimming lessons might help him get acclimated to the water. He enjoyed blowing bubbles, tossing the rings, playing "Follow the Leader" and jumping off the side of the pool. He did not enjoy getting his hair wet, going under water or floating on his back or stomach. We had a good time anyway!

Daddy's 29th Birthday! June 25

Will helped Mommy make Daddy's birthday cake by taking a nap! (Hurray!) Once it was out and cool Will was very excited to help sprinkle powdered sugar, place the candles (Will decided 9 was a good number) and even pinched a couple bites in the process! Once the candles were lit, Daddy even let Will help blow them out.
