Terrific Tuesday followed by Waaahdnesday

Tuesday was an all-around good day! Preschool was in the morning featuring the Letter M and Thanksgiving. Will enjoyed Turkey Bowling, making a macaroni necklace and gluing macaroni on his "M".
Will loved his macaroni necklace
Afterwards, we headed to Ames to turn in his sheet to the library since he had finished his Fall Reading Program and the prize was...PIZZA (actually a pizza kit from Papa Murphy's)! We stopped to visit Grandma Lori at work and picked up his pizza before heading back home. Will was so excited to make his pizza, so we had an early dinner.
First things first!

"Hahahaha!" As he licked some sauce off the spoon

"Mmmm cheese!"
...and then came Wednesday. Will joined us in bed at some wee hour. He tossed. Turned. Flipped. Kicked. Spun in a circle like a clock. It was obvious he was having a difficult time getting comfy, so he and I headed back to his bed. He fell asleep quickly, but then I was awakened by cries and "ear hurt". Oh boy. I think I know where this is headed...

We arrived for our clinics' walk-in hour. Will had moments of pain, but was mostly happy. And then it happened...again...he threw up in the waiting room. All over himself, me, the carpet and the clinic sofa. Oops! The nurse rushed us back to a room so he could throw up without an audience (but by then he was done). We are now on a second round of antibiotics and came home with a souvenir--a clinic "bucket". The nurse reminded me to take it with us as we left. She remembered us from a week and a half ago when Will threw up on the way out. Perhaps we will start bringing it with us when we visit the doctor (along with a complete change of clothes).

This afternoon we cuddled lots. Will even napped on the sofa which is unheard of. Hopefully his meds kick in quickly and our happy, healthy boy returns soon!
